A Noren is a decorative framing for top of doorway, window or passthrough.


Noren, better known as doorway curtains, have been used in Japan for many centuries.
In fact, the origin of the Japanese noren goes back a long way:
to the Jomon Era, around 12,000 – 300 B.C. !!

Ours are not that old, however...
These Noren recall the nostalgic life of 20th century Japan.

Blue with white bamboo print - cotton,
34 inches wide x 11 inches high/from top of tabs to bottom of curtain.

 Made in Japan.
