DreamCatcher, Double - tan, 8.5 inches in diameter. Two hoops create depth, very interesting effect.  Made by Karlene Chosa, member Ojibwa Tribe
Extremely well-crafted, soft suede/leather covers hoops, sinew forms the web, and soft, downy, white feathers move gently in the slightest breeze.

The dreamcatcher, Ojibwa in origin, is made in the form of a spiderweb. The hole in the center allows good dreams to pass through to the dreamer. Bad dreams and thoughts are trapped in the web. The first morning light dissolves the bad dreams and thoughts away like the morning dew represented by the bead near the center. Dreamcatchers were originally hung on the curved hoop of infant cradleboards.
